About the role

Own the finance function for a Series C logistics company scaling from $80M to $200M ARR. Responsibility spans FP&A, controllership oversight, board reporting, fundraising support, and team-build from 8 to 18. You will partner directly with the CEO on the operating plan and represent finance to the board.

First 90 days

Week 1-4: Diagnose the current FP&A model. Rebuild the 18-month rolling forecast and present variance bridge to interim CFO. Week 5-8: Co-own the Q4 board materials with the interim CFO. Own 3 of the 8 board slides personally — pick the ones that matter. Week 9-12: Lead the team-build. Hire two senior FP&A analysts and a controller. Set the bar. Week 13: Run the first audit-committee meeting under your operating cadence.
